High Power Cost

I received the utility bills yesterday and I was really shocked to find that our power consumption skyrocketed from how much we paid the previous month. I knew that our consumption never amounted that much so I was thinking that something must be very wrong. A friend told me that this could be brought about by some defect in our garage door.

Sure enough, when I had my husband inspect the door, he noticed that there was a tear on the rubber footing. He called up a garage door company and asked for a garage door weatherstripping replacement.

He replaced the worn footing easily and assured us that it would no longer affect the insulation of the house so our power consumption could now get back to normal.
